Favorite Things: February
J Crew Chambray Shirt: I have been living in this thing. It’s so versatile. I wear it under and over clothes. So easy. My favorite pairing; black jeans, black and white striped T-shirt and this shirtt. Or under a vest, sweater or light jacket. Comfortable and classic.
‘Wrecked’: Dr. Prentise kept this one short and sweet. His no-nonsense approach to health is something I can get behind. The premise, stressing about health does not make you healthy. Solution: reduce stress by drinking when you’re thirsty, eating when you’re hungry, sleep when you’re tired, rest and move.
Sleepytime Tea: There are times when I have difficulty falling asleep. Insert Sleepytime, a chamomile based herbal tea that promotes restfulness. I really enjoy the calming effects of ritual and chamomile.
Burt’s Bees Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm: The cold weather has taken a toll on my skin. This lip balm has made it tolerabl
Andilou Organics 1000 Roses Beautiful Face Cream: The past couple of years I have been transition to safer products. Everything from cleaning supplies to tooth paste, deodorant and skin care products. I had been using coconut oil as a moisturizer and cleanser but left something to be desired. I found this face cream at Marshall’s and decided to give it a try. I love that it’s light and creamy. It quickly absorbs into my skin without leaving it greasy. Plus, it smells like rose hips, which is oh so relaxing.
Hamilton Sound Track on Spotify: Andrew gave me a subscription to Spotify for my birthday, in June. I love it. Their curated playlists keep me listening to music without the stress of finding artists. The best thing, they have the Hamilton sound track! The music takes me back to our snowy weekend in Chicago.
